Amber Resin Wood Bone and Copal Amber Horse Pendant Necklace, AF09132 Apache Cafe'
The Amaretto Fall Collection 2013
Limited Edition Piece. Only one available.
The Apache Cafe', here in downtown Atlanta, is a true spot for the neo-soul head, the artistic head and the free spirited dweller. I love this place! Everything from Freeform Sundays, painting, music, rap, live art and exhibition being showcased all the while dining on scrumptious cuisine, it's no wonder why I fell in love at my first visit. When I created this necklace, just holding the pendant allowed me to create the name for her. This amazing necklace is exactly that, Amazing!!! I couldn't find a pendant and bead combo like this if I tried. This rather large pendant (about 4 1/2 in length), handmade Tibetan cured amber resin pendant is nothing short of wearable art. This majestic horse travels from the land of Kathmandu, Tibet to land in my hands to travel to her intended wearer. The accenting compilation of bone, crackle resin, batik bone, beautifully capped bone beads and amber beads, two large copal amber beads, wood, antiqued silver triangle puff beads speaks a medley of artistic soul to bring this necklace to life. Each bead in this necklace was handmade by artisians who remain dedicated to the true metal work, carvings and curing methods of generations before us. The sheen these is quite lovely, warm even. Despite it's size, this necklace is very light weight. This is one of kind, piece that cannot be remade.
Necklace with clasp, 27 inches
